Congratulations to three outstanding graduates of Peoria’s Grow Your Own program—Kennedy Pacey, Victoria Jackson, and Sobia Paul—who just signed letters of intent to become teachers at Peoria Public Schools! With their certification exams ahead, they’re on track to bring their passion and dedication to our classrooms.

All three high schools and KCSS got hands-on experience with various engineering fields at Bradley! Students made T-shirts and even cut out Bradley logos from iron using water!

Valeska Hinton’s Frightfully Fun Family PTO event was a hit, with 160 families and 550 people enjoying indoor trick-or-treating. Teachers decorated classroom doors with Halloween themes, and community partners and families contributed treats.

Trewyn K-8 hosted a donuts with grownups and it was a huge hit! Big thank you to our amazing parents and families for joining their students and making it such a sweet morning together!

Kindergarten students had a fantastic day exploring Roth's Pumpkin Farm! They enjoyed hands-on pumpkin activities, making it a fun and memorable learning adventure!

Every year, Harold B. Dawson Middle School 8th graders dive into the fascinating world of anatomy, exploring the body’s systems—and they absolutely love it! They trace their bodies and learn about the body's systems!

Mrs. Garrett’s A.P. Environmental Science class visited Emiquon Wildlife Refuge, where they collected lake samples and identified live organisms with help from University of Illinois instructors. The students loved the hands-on experience—even if they were a little grossed out!

Trunk or Treat at Charter Oak Primary was a spook-tacular success! Thank you to all the families who joined in with their Halloween spirit!

Thank you to Rubi's Brick Oven Pizza for teaching Life Skills Eagles and their buddies at Mark Bills Middle School how to make pizzas! They had a slice of a time!
