Miss Williamson’s second graders at Elise Ford Allen Academy connected with a class in Guyana, South America, to share school experiences and start a pen pal exchange. The students asked questions, shared their school experiences, and realized how lucky they are to have free lunches and bus rides.

Reservoir Gifted Academy’s student council collected an impressive 9 pounds of pop tabs, which they donated at the Student Council State Convention. The best part? The proceeds will support the Ronald McDonald House!

The Yellow 1 classroom at Valeska Hinton ECEC explored the mail process through Letter to Amy and built a rolling mail truck using scooter wheels. They used it to deliver real mail to families and the school office for the mail carrier.
