8th graders at Harold B. Dawson received a visit from the Manual JROTC team! JROTC spoke of their yearly events, tutoring at Trewyn, field trips, and their family-like atmosphere.

Rise Acadmy Makes Blankets

Mrs. Bessler's class started working on their community service project to provide blankets for Project Linus, which donates handmade blankets as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children.

Six 6-8th grade students visited Santa Ana, California for the Mardi Gras Speech and Debate Tournament, and they all did a remarkable job!

Mr. Bowen's 8th-grade science class completed an engineering project called Seed Dispersal, where students predicted cup floatation based on seed count!
