Fall Break IXL Online Curriculum Challenge:

Directions for accessing online curriculum resources from home through Skooler are available on our website under the Students & Families tab. You can also find them directly at the link below:

https://www.peoriapublicschools.org/page/learning-at-home-resources

Fall break is the perfect opportunity for students to stay up to date on their academics. Students MUST work on grade level skills through IXL. Each student has an IXL plan for ELA and Math on skills that they need to work on. Our goal is 2 proficient lessons each week in ELA and Math. When a student reaches a smart score of 80, learners are considered proficient in a skill! That means they have a good understanding of the topic and may be ready to move on to a new skill.

We are challenging EVERY child to complete 2 ELA skills at 80 and 2 Math skills at 80 over fall break to get a prize when they return from fall break. Students will also be put in to a drawing to win a gift card.

Get ready, get set, GO! The challenge is on. Who will step up and meet our challenge?

ROAR Team Thanksgiving Food Drive:

Sterling's ROAR team will be sponsoring the food drive. Homerooms will be collecting canned food items. Items collected will be boxed with a turkey for a "thanksgiving dinner" and handed out to our families in need. A QR code will be sent out to our families closer to Thanksgiving to sign up if they are in need of a Thanksgiving dinner.
