Last week, the weather tested our determination to get to school on the limited days we had—but our Viking families showed perseverance and commitment. We ended the week with an average of 91.5% attendance, and we appreciate everyone who braved the cold to be present. Every day counts, and we’re proud of our continued effort!
On Tuesday morning, our Vikings were welcomed with a warm treat—hot chocolate with marshmallows—to help start the day on a cozy note. A special thank you to Mrs. Steele and Miss Jessica for helping serve over 200 cups of hot cocoa in record time! Your kindness and teamwork made a big difference on a cold morning.
Our basketball teams also brought the energy last week, playing tough games on Tuesday and Thursday. Congratulations to our Junior Varsity team on their exciting victory against Elise Ford Allen—what a game! 🏀
Looking ahead, this Thursday will be our final home games of the boys’ basketball season, and we are excited to also celebrate our 8th Grade Night on Wednesday, January 28th, when we take on Glen Oak. The JV game begins at 4:00 PM, and we invite our families to come out and support our Vikings as we honor our 8th graders.
From ❤️ Amistad to 💙 Reveur, 🖤 Altruismo, and 💚 Isibindi, our Viking spirit remains strong. Thank you for your continued support and partnership—we are better together!
