November - Connected through Kindness

Even though we have only two school days this week, every day truly matters. As we wrap up the month of November, we are encouraging all students to be present and aiming for 100% attendance on both Monday and Tuesday.

This week, we are excited to show our gratitude to students who have maintained 95% or better attendance for the entire school year. These students will automatically participate in our celebration and House Activities on Tuesday afternoon—❤️ Amistad, 💙 Reveur, 🖤 Altruismo, and 💚 Isibindi will enjoy time together in recognition of their commitment to showing up every day.

Students who attend both Monday and Tuesday will also be invited to join the celebration. Let’s finish strong and reward our hard work with a great afternoon together before the holiday break!

We want to wish all of our Viking families a safe, joyful, and restful holiday weekend. While we look forward to this short break, we are equally excited about returning in December to finish the first semester strong.

Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and encouragement. We appreciate you!

America Reads is a free tutoring program that pairs kids grades K-8 with a Bradley student to help them with reading comprehension, but if needed they can also help with homework. Starting September 22nd, these sessions are 45 minutes at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and kids can attend up to three sessions per week. These sessions take place on Bradley's campus. See the link on the flyer for the application to enroll your child today.

School Uniform Policy

Cell Phones & Bookbags

We are enforcing no cell phones from 7:30 - 2:30 each day. Students have a Yondr pouch assigned to them. Each morning when students enter the building, they must either power down their phone or put it in airplane mode (to preserve the battery) and lock it in their pouch.

Clear backpacks are also required this year. We have two options for families. First, you can purchase a district clear backpack for $20 from the main office. Second, you can attend a school event to receive a clear Von Steuben backpack.
