Class lists posted: Friday, July 31st 5:00 PM-Class lists will be posted on the front windows of Charter Oak at 5:00 PM. Class lists will be up all weekend for you to check out.

Unpack Your Backpack Night: Monday, August 3rd 5:00-6:30 PM-This is your opportunity to come meet your teachers, drop off supplies and see what's new this year! We encourage all of our Bobcats to join us for Unpack Your Backpack this year. We will not be allowing families into classrooms on the first day of school so please take advantage of this opportunity to meet your Bobcat's teachers and check out their classrooms.

PTC will be at Unpack Your Backpack with spirit wear for sale and information on how to join us this year! You may also pay your PTC fees of $10 in cash or check as well as prepay for Friday Bottom Buyouts this evening.

First Day of School: Wednesday, August 5th 8:30 AM-We need all of Bobcats at school on time day 1! Good habits are built each day and we want all of our Bobcats to be successful this year. Families are not allowed into classrooms on the first day of school in order to help all of our Bobcats be setup for success in learning and get settled into their new school year. Please join us for Unpack Your Backpack night to meet your Bobcats teachers and check out their classrooms. 

BooHoo Yahoo: Wednesday, August 5th 8:30 AM-Join the PTC & other families in the Charter Oak library to celebrate or commiserate your Bobcats returning to school! PTC will serve coffee and a snack for all families that join.

Friday Bottom Buyout: Friday, August 7th-Students may pay 50cents to wear an out of uniform bottom with either a spirit wear shirt or uniform shirt. 

Uniforms-We wear uniforms at Charter Oak. Bobcats are expected to be in uniform every day unless it is a spirit day, College Colors day or Friday Bottom Buyout day. Those out of uniform days will be scheduled and shared in advance.

Uniforms look like: Red, blue, or white polos or shirt with a collar. Khaki, black, or navy blue uniform pants, shorts, jumpers or skirts/skorts. Closed toe shoes-this is to keep feet safe while playing at recess and PE. Crocs must be in sport mode all day. Spirit wear can be worn on Fridays only. No Hoodies-Students can wear crew neck pull overs, and sweaters that are plain.

Parent Teacher Club-Charter Oak has a wonderful PTC that sponsors many events and wonderful opportunities for our Bobcats. Please join us for our first PTC meeting of the year on September 3rd at 6:30 PM at Charter Oak.

Arrival & Dismissal-Doors do not open until 8:15. Please do not leave your Bobcats unattended outside the school building before school. Dismissal starts at 3:30 and we need all of our Bobcats at school for their full day every day.
